From Dropout to Nurse: Amina's Journey
Amina Tunde was 16 when financial hardship forced her out of school in Lagos. A neighbor told her about the Queen Esther Empowerment scholarship program. After a simple application process, she was selected, enrolled back into school, and provided with books, uniforms, and mentorship. Three years later, she is pursuing a degree in Nursing and mentors younger girls in her community.

A Village Finally Has Clean Water
For decades, the women of Ikorodu-Oke community in Lagos State began every day with a long, exhausting walk to fetch water. After Queen Esther Empowerment's Clean Water Access program identified the community, a borehole was drilled, a water committee was trained, and clean water was made available to over 200 families. Cases of cholera and typhoid in the community dropped significantly within the first year.
